Will the Portfolios Be Different?

Imagine two scenarios. In the first, I start a strategy running on Jan 1, and let it run all year. I look at the portfolio weights on Dec 31. In the second, I use the same strategy, with the exact same logic, but I start it running on Jun 1 and look at it on Dec 31. Will the portfolios be different on Dec 31, or not?

SOLUTION: The portfolios will be different.
